随着城镇化进程的快速推进,城市污水处理厂的大量兴建,污水处理过程中产生的臭气问题日益突出,导致污染事件频发,给周边居民生活区和公共活动区带来严重危害,引起了社会各界及政府有关部门的高度关注。如何控制臭气、保护环境、保障职工及周边居民身心健康,已成为污水处理行业的当务之急。

臭气污染来源

污水处理厂臭气主要有两个来源:一是待处理污水中含有易挥发的恶臭气体,在流经进水池、格栅间、沉砂池、初沉池、生化池等建构物过程中挥发出来产生异味;二是城市污泥浓缩、脱水及外运过程中释放的臭气。

臭气污染成分及危害分析

城市污水处理厂臭气主要分为五类:第一类为含硫化合物;第二类为含氮化合物;第三类为由碳、氢或碳、氢、氧组成的烃类化合物;第四类为含氧有机化合物;第五类为卤素及其衍生物。

臭气不仅使大量传播疾病的细菌滋生繁衍,而且对神经系统、呼吸系统、循环系统、内分泌系统产生强烈的刺激作用。挥发性有机污染物(VolatileOrganicCompounds,简称VOC)是一大类可产生“致癌、致畸、致突变”作用的有毒有害物质,对人体生理健康造成潜在性的巨大危害;硫化氢等物质不仅散发刺激性气味,还可严重腐蚀设备而缩短其使用寿命;臭味给人以感官不悦,使工作人员效率低下。
