This project is the first solar photovoltaic product production project in Laos, and it is the 7G watt high-efficiency battery project of China Resources Solar Energy Technology (Laos) wholly-owned Co., Ltd. Its parent company, Jiangsu Zhongrun Co., Ltd., was established in 2011. The company's main business is the research and development, production, and sales of high-efficiency solar panels. In 2022, the shipment volume of solar panels ranked fourth in the world.
Zhongrun Solar plans to invest 280 million US dollars in the development zone of Laos to build a 7G watt high-efficiency battery project. After completion, the annual output value is expected to reach 1.5 billion US dollars, providing 1500-2000 employment opportunities for the local area of Laos.
