    第一阶段,废气臭气中的污染物有机物与水接触,溶于水中成为液相中的分子或离子。这一过程是物理过程,遵循亨利定律:Pit=HXi。第二阶段,废气臭气溶液中的恶臭成分有机物被微生物所分解,恶臭成分有机物从水中转移至微生物体内。第三阶段,进入微生物细胞中的有机物在细胞内各种酶的催化作用下,微生物对其进行氧化分解,同时进行合成自身生长繁殖所需要的营养物质。一部分有机物通过氧化分解最终转化为水,二氧化碳,氧气等无害物质。微生物得到了自身的供养,人们也除去了废气臭气,实现了双赢。这就是在生物除臭塔中,除去废气臭气需要经过三个阶段。
