随着人们对环境质量要求的不断提高,越来越多的污水处理厂在各地新建。污水在污水厂运行时,每个处理单元都会产生异味。为了改善污水处理厂及周围环境,利用生物除臭塔控制污水处理厂恶臭气体的污染已成为一项紧迫任务。

 

生物除臭塔中填料载体的厚度和布气的均匀性会影响载体上水膜对恶臭气体的吸收率,从而影响除臭效果。常用的填料有两种:一种是木切、砂、土、石、壳等天然填料;另一种是陶瓷、塑料等合成材料。如果塔内使用的滤料是人工合成的惰性材料,往往需要人工添加除臭物质以外的一些营养物质。

生物除臭塔的优势

研究表明,生物滤池可采用纤维泥炭、多孔陶粒、聚乙烯醇纤维、海绵、干树皮、干草、木渣、贝壳等作为生物滤池填料。

生物填充层的pH值在恶臭气体入口下呈酸性,越高越接近中性。为保证生物填料的水分维持和清洗反应生成物,必须从填料层上方向下喷水。在生物填充塔中,散水可以间歇或连续。一般可采用上流和合流气液接触。

 

为了充分吸收臭气,满足微生物的生存和繁殖需要,散水必须能够在填料表面形成水膜。此外,散水水温应保持在10~40℃范围内。在处理高浓度臭气时,为了提高除臭效率,填充层通常分为上下两层。下填料层利用酸性硫氧化菌分解硫化氢,上填料层利用中性硫氧化菌分解其他硫化物。生物填充除臭法除臭能力强,冬季冷气候影响小,节能环保,运行管理方便,价格低廉。

 

与其它除臭方法相比,生物除臭塔在实际工程中仍得到广泛应用。
