生物除臭是利用微生物的代谢作用将致臭物质进行生物降解,实现脱臭。生物脱臭是目前具前景的恶臭净化技术,由于其一次投资低、运行费用省、净化效果好、操作维护方便,在欧美发达国家已被广泛用于低浓度恶臭气体治理。近年来,国内已经逐步开展了生物除臭技术研究和工业化应用实践。

生物过滤法

目前,污水处理厂常用的生物除臭法主要有生物过滤法、生物洗涤法以及生物滴滤法。生物过滤法是将通入的臭气先加湿,在适宜的工艺条件下使臭气通过湿润多孔且长满微生物的生物滤层,附着在固体载体上的大量微生物对恶臭物质进行吸附、吸收和降解,通过微生物的代谢作用将恶臭物质降解成二氧化碳和其他无机物。生物过滤法的适宜运行条件为pH值为6.5~8.0,湿度保持在80%~90%,温度15~35℃,氧气质量浓度为0.20~1.0mgL,停留时间4~8h

生物过滤工艺设备少,操作简单,不需外加营养物,投资运行费用低,臭气去除率高,但生物过滤法的生化反应过程需要相对较长的停留时间,从而需要很大的占地面积,反应条件较难控制,易造成滤料堵塞。

生物法具有技术先进成熟、处理效果稳定、资金节约等特点,使其更符合国情,在国内有着广泛的应用。
