污染物的含量

在利用微生物进行恶臭气体处理时,废气中的污染物的种类和数量往往影响着其除臭效果。一般情况下,使用生物过滤池进行除臭时,废气中的污染物的种类应该是能够被微生物利用和降解的水溶性有机或无机物质,且一定不能是抑制微生物生长的有毒物质,只有这样,才能够保证微生物极佳的除臭效果。同时,污染物的含量也应该保持在一定的范围内,过高含量的污染物将会导致微生物的大量繁衍,高密度的微生物不仅影响除臭效果,还有可能缩短填料的使用寿命。

适宜的除臭环境

在进行污水臭气处理时,生物过滤池中填料层的均衡施行制约着生物滤池的透气性,更影响着对臭气的处理效果。这是因为,在润湿效果(即水分缺失)不够的情况下,填料层会发生干裂现象,这种状态下,微生物的新陈代谢不仅无法正常进行,而且其代谢物也不容易排出过滤池。所以,为了保证给填料层提供较为适宜的湿度,废气在进入生物滤池之前,需先经过润湿处理,以保证填料在较为适宜的湿度范围内更好地发挥其除臭效果。
