生物量过多和分布不匀会造成滤料堵塞、质量扩散的比表面积减小、形成气流槽等问题,从而破坏滤池的运行环境、降低对臭气的去除率。压降的增量与生物量的增量呈线性正相关,因此生物量过多是造成压降的重要原因之一。压降越高则所需要的排气成本越大,有研究表明,当压降从o4kPa增加到25kPa时,能耗增大3倍。凶此,控制生物量是生物滤池长期稳定运行的关键。

生物滤池的富余生物量控制

控制生物量及压降的措施有:①物理方法,如同流水洗、水冲洗、气流喷射、搅拌等。②化学方法,例如,控制碳源和氮源种类,一N为氮源可减小生物滤池的压降;用化学试剂洗涤和填充,如Na0HNaClONaCl等。③生物方法,如原生和后生动物的捕食。④改善生物滤池的设计,如不同性质的生物滤池填充物、旋转式鼓风滤池和起泡乳胶生物反应器。⑤改善运行参数,如改变进气方向(气体分离、间歇式进气)、生物滤池前使用气体吸收装置以平衡负荷。使用腐熟堆肥去除生物垃圾堆肥臭气的试验结果表明,单一方向进气时生物滤池的压降是周期性变向进气时的34可抑制生物量的过度生长,有效控制生物滤池的压降
