营养控制

为使微生物对污染物质的去除能力达到最大化,营养物质添加的数量与频率可参考恶臭气体中的碳含量并结合实际运行情况来确定。营养供应的水平对生物滤池启动及稳定阶段的生物活性有很大的影响。

理想的生物滴滤床具有稳定的水相和微生态系统,微生物自身降解产生的溶解态营养物质可以被正在生长的生物体循环再利用,其本身可以维持微生物的营养需求。然而在实际运行中,喷淋液可能会带走部分溶解态的营养物质,如果微生物的生长速度比较快,也会造成营养供应的不足。此外,在填料内部或生物团底部发生的厌氧反应也可使氮以氮气的形式释放出去。所以,需要外加营养物质才能维持生物滴滤床的运行。

微生物的接种与驯化培养

很多学者曾建议在生物滴滤床内接种单一的理想菌种(降解特定污染物的能力很强)。但是,只有当这种微生物在生态上可行时这种方式才可能成功。菌种必须能够适应生物滴滤床的环境条件,即能够在反应器通常的PH值及温度条件下生长,并适应必然发生的变化,同时还应有竞争优势,能够降解污染物质是所接种菌种的必要特点,但只有能够快速利用污染物质才能使菌种具有特殊的竞争优势。
