污水处理厂恶臭气体的来源、组成及危害

1.1恶臭气体的来源

污水处理厂恶臭气体的来源可分为两类:一是污水中直接挥发出来的;二是污水处理厂各个处理构筑物中,由于其生物反应过程中,微生物的不完全氧化产生的各种挥发性有机物和无机物,城市污水处理厂的恶臭气体主要产生于污水的进水部分和污泥处理部分

1.2恶臭气体的组成

污水处理厂恶臭气体的具体组成可大致分为5类[4]:①含硫的化合物:硫化氢、硫醇类、硫醚类;② 含氮的化合物:胺类、酰胺、吲哚类;③ 含氧的有机物:醇、酚、醛、酮、有机酸等;④卤素及衍生物:氯气、 卤代烃;⑤烃类:烷烃、烯烃、炔烃、芳香烃。恶臭气 体主要含有氨、硫化氢和甲硫醇。从浓度来看,氨的 浓度最高,硫化氢次之;而从恶臭强度来看,甲硫醇的强度最大,硫化氢其次。

1.3恶臭废气对人体健康的危害

恶臭气体对人体呼吸系统、神经系统以及皮肤均会造成一定的危害"如硫化氢可刺激上呼吸道,造成咽痛;硫醇可引起头痛、麻醉,高浓度的硫醇会导致呼吸麻痹而死亡;氨对皮肤组织有刺激和腐蚀作用,过高浓度的氨会使心脏停止跳动,终止呼吸。

1.4恶臭废气对环境的危害

恶臭气体排放到空气中,将使空气污浊度升高!同时也会使得苍蝇、老鼠等有害生物急剧繁衍恶臭气体其物质渗入水中会降低水中的溶解氧含量!严重时可导致水体发黑发臭;进入农田则会破坏土壤,影响植物生长,使农作物枯萎,产量下降。

恶臭是一切能刺激人体嗅觉器官,发出令人不愉快感气味的物质,是当今世界的七大公害之一,越来越引起人们的重视,近年来城市建设加快,规模迅速扩大,污水排放量骤增,污水处理厂的数量也随之上升。但污水处理过程中散发的恶臭气体如果治理不当,首先会腐蚀设备及管道,进而造成大气污染,最终危害人体健康和环境,因此必须采取措施对恶臭气体加以控制,并采用具体方法对其进行治理。
