近几年来,随着污水处理厂数量的不断增加,如何有效地处理污水处理厂产生的恶臭气体成为困扰污水处理行业的一个难题。除臭技术发展较快,目前除臭设备的处理方法主要有活性炭吸附法、臭氧氧化法、燃烧法、生物除臭法和离子除臭法等。

 

城镇污水除臭方法经历了一个发展过程,由最初采用的洗脱法,逐渐发展为高效的微生物除臭工艺。常用的方法有:水洗、活性炭吸附、催化式活性炭法、臭氧氧化、燃烧法、植物提取液喷施技术、生物除臭等。

当前,国内大多数污水处理厂采用物化、生物、离子三种方法处理恶臭气体。这些方法主要有稀释法、吸附法、吸附法、燃烧法等;生物法有生物制剂法、生物过滤法、填料塔生物除臭、生物洗涤等。

 

为了获得最佳的除臭效果,一般采用物化方法结合其他方法。由于各种化学品对恶臭气体的去除具有局限性,广泛使用各种化学品会给环境带来二次污染,能源消耗增大;不能改善室内空气环境;除臭装置、管道和水处理设备;具有不同程度的腐蚀作用;自动化要求更高;运行费用相对较高;一次投资较大,一旦系统完工,不容易调节;新建工程要考虑占地和电力,公用设施预留;系统安装周期长,调试复杂。

 

生物学方法通过气体输送系统,使污染源的臭气排出,而臭气在通过生物载体时阻力较大,耗能大,臭气对气体输送设备和管道有腐蚀作用,但对室内空气环境没有明显的改善作用;此法投资差别较大,项目投资不太灵活占地面积大,需新建相应的建筑物、构筑物;运营费用高,具有较高的系统维修费,对外部环境的要求。离子净化是采用人为本主动去臭的方式,在污染源处消除污染,不但可以抑制有害气体的扩散,而且还可以满足人们在感到舒服时需要的负离子量,从根本上改善工作环境。

 

加强恶臭气体的监测治理,是污水处理厂未来发展的需要。国内污水厂采用化学除臭设备的历史较长,但由于耗水量较大化学溶液和电力、二次污染、管线腐蚀严重等原因,臭气的处理效果和运行状况都不理想,现在正逐渐为新兴的生物除臭设备所替代。
