生化除臭机制

微生物脱臭原理是利用臭气排出的有机物作为碳源和生命活动的能量,将它们转化为二氧化碳、水和细胞质,这与废水生物处理原理是一致的。但微生物的生命活动与水是密不可分的,通常微生物都是生长在液体或固体表面上,所以废气中的污染物在被微生物吸收降解之前,首先要经历从气相到液相或固相表面的液膜的传质过程。用于降解气体污染物的微生物以异养菌为主,在适宜的营养条件、温度、酸碱度和有氧条件下,可较快完成污染物的降解。就像废水的生物处理一样,气体污染物的生物净化过程是人类对自然过程进行强化和工程控制的过程,其过程速度取决于气相向液固相的传质速率、生物降解率和可被降解的活性生物量。

根据传统的生物膜理论,生物法处理臭气废气通常需要经过以下几个步骤:

(1)废气中的有机污染物首先接触到水并溶解在水中;

(2)液膜中溶解的有机污染物成分由于浓度差而进一步扩散到生物膜中,然后被微生物捕获和吸收;

(3)微生物利用有机物作为能源或碳源进行生长代谢,从而将它们分解成简单的无机物质和低毒性有机物;

生物代谢物的一部分返回到液体中,另一部分气体从生物膜中分离出来,通过扩散进入大气。根据这一理论,生物对恶臭气体的净化速度主要取决于有机物在气相和液相中的扩散速度和生化反应速度。
