生物脱臭工艺目前主要由土壤脱臭法和填充塔型生物脱臭法等组成,土壤脱臭法是利用土壤中的微生物分解臭气成分而达到脱臭目的;填充塔型生物脱臭法是臭气在活性高的微生物中通过透气好的载体填充塔而达到脱臭目的。生物脱臭反应器的型式目前基本可以分为三大类一类是生物滤池,填料采用树叶、树皮、木屑、土壤、泥炭等,恶臭气体一般需要预湿化,占地面积大;另一类是生物滴滤池,填料则为各种多孔、比表面积大的惰性物质,由于富集的微生物量多,占地面积小;第三类是生物洗涤器,恶臭物质吸收到液相后再由微生物转化。

生物滤池

生物滤池反应器的形式是固体填料床,微生物在填料表面附着生长形成生物膜,气体流经反应器,污染物质转移到生物膜内部进而被微生物所降解。在恰当地操控下,VOCs等污染物质被完全矿化形成二氧化碳、水、微生物和无机盐等。生物滤池以木片、泥炭、堆肥、或无机介质做填料,污染物和氧气均传递到填料表面的生物膜上,然后被微生物代谢降解。

首先要进行接种,天然材料像泥炭、堆肥含有能够降解一些VOCs的微生物,也可以污水处理厂的污泥接种,微生物生长所需要的水分来自于对进气进行预湿处理,偶尔对滤池浇灌。传统生物滤池是敞口或封闭结构,床体内不存在连续的液相,依靠载体材料本身的持水性供水,水分的维持是依靠对进气的预湿和定期的喷洒水。不额外供给微生物赖以生长的营养物质,以防止微生物的过度繁殖。
